Dose off!

So the day starts and there's 25 people,
I'm sorry 25 little people
First grades aren't people yet
their more like munchkins!
But anyway as soon as I heard their little feet
patter running up the stairs
I thought that I should brace myself in a corner.
I seriously don't know how Ms.Lacasse does it!
By the end of the day
I would be wearing an aluminum foil hat
with a bath robe and barking like a dog!
Most of the time I was grading papers and
filling in bubbles on the answer sheet and then
I had to make copies!
The printer at Linden is THE DEVIL!
It wouldn't work for me and the paper kept
getting jammed!
After all that it was about lunch time
and Ms.Lacasse bought me lunch.
I fell asleep on the car ride to there as well
When we came back and settled down for a bit
the announcement told every 1st grade teacher to come get their
kids because they were acting up in the lunch room and
they have been revoked from their recess privilege!
THE WHOLE IST GRADE!!!!
I think I heard a couple of the teachers cussing
because of it.

Lost in the Hall

Most of us know that is a very large school,
and that it has vass amounts of students.
Today I didn't have much rest
so I wasn't on top of my game unfortunately.
I stepped out to the stair way
beacause it has great signal
and plus I didn't want to
answer my phone in the class room.
After I was finished with my phone call,
I found myself not knowing
what class room did I step out of.
All the class rooms look identical.
My mind was at a mush and the smell
of purfume from each class room
did not help and in a matter of fact
I felt quite queasey so I rushed to the
bathroom hoping that I wouldn't have to
purge my whole breakfast.
After that I found my class!

Old Faces

Today wad chaotic!
The kids were finishing their kites.
So I was helped passing out tape and handing out papers
Then it happened,
I saw a kid that I "accidentally" hit last year
but that's another story
Raqwan is his name
Smartest kid in the school
He just has a behavior problem
Any who he kept annoying me
To the point where Ms.Fox yelled at him and
told him to shut up
I wanted to laugh so bad.
But I had to hold it in so that
I could act professional.

So today at site I was with the 1st graders!
At first I was nervous but I remembered that these kids could smell fear!
Then I swallowed my pride and work with those kids.
At first things were looking good until we had a bathroom break.
One of the girls refused to take off her coat because she said that she was cold
but she was wearing flip flops.
Hmm... that's kind of weird.
After that there was an incident with one of the kids
well one of them stabbed another student
so their whole class had to come into ours as well
because the kids started to get a bit out of hand.
Seeing a sea of kids made me think
" Why am I here?" or " I will never be a teacher".
The rest of the day was just ran smoothly when the other class left.
They just read their books and then went to lunch.
Ms.Lacasse was talking to me about diving and drawing lessons
When I told her that I didn't get to do that
She called my mom and told her that it was her
assignment to find some classes or ELSE.

Time

I have decided that on Tuesdays I work with Ms. Lacasse
and then on Thursdays I would work with Ms. Fox
so it works out perfectly!
Toady I just wined up some string
for the kites and all that jazz.
Ms Fox gave me some sample paper
for one of the kites.
So as of now I'm trying to make up a very cute design for one.
Ms. Fox also told me that she could help me one my portfolio
since I don't have anyone to help me at home.
That's a big plus to me!
Being around all those kids makes me nervous in a way.
Well being in a huge crowd in general.
I'm gonna have to get over it.

well well!

okay well i had a problem with transportation but that's all been changed. Dan said that he would pick me up because it's on his way back to school. so that's total sweetness! Since spring is here my allergies are acting up! It's kind of embarrassing when i blow my nose and my nose is seriously congested because it squeaks! I know it's very strange. Right now I'm in Pat's room wearing a bunny nose and somehow Rachel is in here using my bubbles!!!! It's okay though.

Children?

Well today was my first day at linden!
Okay well I was working with Ms. Lacase 1st grade class.
She sat me at a table next to a girl named Hawa.
I had to help her out with her math.
Then I saw the another girl next to her coping off her paper.
When I confronted the girl she denied it right away.
I asked her how did she get her answer and she said that she forgot.
So I had to help her as well.
Because she copied Hawa's Paper completly wrong!
After all that was done we had free time where they would play games.
Ms. Lacase had broght out some white boards and markers so that they could practice
for their spelling test.
My group didn't want to so I made it into a little game
where they had to race to spell the word correctly!
Of course they had fun because they had the chance to write like a complete spaz.
After that they were reading about butterflies when there was this little boy who had s
stapled his finger!!!!!!
Ms.Lacase had to open it for him beacause he had his hands full by crying a river!
Then I had to leave early because Lee had a doctors appointment and that was my only ride home.
